We would like to inform you that effective January 1st, 2027 we will permanently discontinue support of MHD 8100-3G devices.

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you that effective January 1st, 2027 we will permanently discontinue support of MHD 8100-3G devices. After the date, those hardware models will be officially no longer supported via our Support Center and software updates will be no longer released. The support for the product is being discontinued due to shifts in technology, shortage of electronic components and limited OS support. The MHD 8100-3G was already replaced by its successor MHD 8100-4G. Newer technology provides more productivity and greater efficiency in the same applications as the older product. Newer products are fully compatible with older ones in terms of software applications. 36 hours of SMS downtime: what the Vonage outage reveals about the resilience of cloud services

In May 2026, a fire at the NorthC data center in Almere, the Netherlands, caused a major disruption to Vonage’s SMS services. Some customers lost access to key services such as SMS API, Messages API, and Verify API, while some systems took more than 36 hours to recover. An additional issue affecting the Numbers Deactivation API, linked to the same incident, continued until May 11, four days after the fire.
