This guide explains how to integrate SMSEagle with eG Manager by eG Innovations for SMS notifications.
SMSEagle functions as a standalone hardware SMS gateway that operates independently without requiring external connections to third-party services. All notifications are processed locally within your infrastructure and transmitted directly through the cellular network.
This makes it an ideal solution for secure environments and installations where Internet connectivity is restricted or unavailable.
Before using the API, you’ll need to enable API access on your SMSEagle device by following these steps (more information about SMSEagle APIv1 can be found here):
For purpose of this example configuration, add access permissions in section Messages for: send_sms.
