A Zap can send an SMS through SMSEagle, your own hardware SMS gateway, whenever something happens in one of your apps.
You connect the SMSEagle app in Zapier with your device address and API token, with no code to write.
The trigger can come from any app connected to Zapier, and SMSEagle sends the SMS.
SMSEagle sends SMS through a regular SIM card, so you only pay for your mobile plan.
An event in the app you picked as the Zap’s trigger runs, for example a new form submission or a status change.
The Zap passes the trigger’s data into the connected SMSEagle app, which is authenticated with the API access token you generated on the device.
SMSEagle delivers the alert over its own cellular connection, not through a third-party service, as an SMS to the recipient’s phone.
